AVD
AZURE Virtual Desktop (AVD) is available to all Army employees. The instructions to apply for an account are in MS Teams under the “Army Hub” (top left corner). Scroll down to the ICON below that says “Enterprise Azure Virtual Desktop”. There are also instructions on how to download the remote client on your remote machine. Call the helpdesk at 501-212-4722 if you have any issues.
BYOD
The Army's "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) program is open to all Army employees. This program is "not" mandatory but is for your convenience. In short, the Army's BYOD solution provides a 100% private, virtual application on a user's personal phone or tablet - all data remains 'in the cloud' so the capability does not store any official data on the user's personal device.
