MISSION

Enhance readiness by providing full-time National Guard personnel with the formal training and professional development necessary to execute critical administrative and operational tasks in support of mission requirements. PORB offers a professional atmosphere to deliver current and standardized instruction, preparing Soldiers and civilians for Federal and State missions, both home and abroad.

Foster a premier training environment with an emphasis on competency, relevancy, and engagement designed to expertly prepare and enable ARNG personnel to be tactically and technically proficient warfighting professionals, while maintaining a culture built on trust, communication, and respect.

    This course is designed to provide the state ESO serving the ARNG with the critical skills necessary to direct the state level operations of education and incentive programs to include the management and reporting of Federal Tuition Assistance, GI Bill Entitlements, Incentives, and Student Loan Repayments for ARNG Soldiers utilizing ARNG specific regulations, policies, and systems in order to ensure proper financial management of federal funds for ARNG Soldier education and incentive benefits.

    This course is designed to provide the Army National Guard (ARNG) GI Bill Managers with the critical skills necessary to validate eligibility, process request, conduct counseling, and assist Soldiers in all matters related to Montgomery GI Bill Programs and Entitlements. The training will be conducted utilizing ARNG specific systems, policies, and regulations. The methods of delivery consist of a combination of instructor-led facilitation, scenario-based group exercises, computer-based demonstrations, and individual hands-on performance exercises.

    This course is designed to provide the state IM serving the ARNG with the critical skills necessary to establish eligibility, process payments, and resolve violations for various SRIP and LRP programs including Bonuses, Student Loan Repayments, and Montgomery GI Bill-Selected Reserve Kicker benefits utilizing ARNG specific systems, regulations, and policies in order to ensure proper financial management of federal funds for ARNG Soldier education benefits.
