The overarching goal of the Personnel & Organizational Readiness Battalion (PORB) is to improve unit readiness by providing full-time National Guard personnel in the fields of human resources and readiness with the essential knowledge and tools needed to do their jobs in the most effective manner possible. The course offerings are a result of feedback from the 54 States and Territories and the NGB Office of Primary Responsibility (G1/G3). PORB gives Soldiers current and relevant information that prepares them for duty at home and abroad.

PORB Human Resources Team

The Human Resources Team offers classes to support the full-time administrative personnel in the states and territories. The following courses are currently offered: BDE/BN S-1, ARNG Basic HR & Admin, Medical Readiness NCO, Officer-In-Charge and Mobilization Integration.

PORB Readiness Team

The Readiness Team offers courses directed to those personnel who are responsible for managing a unit's training activities and readiness posture. The courses offered are: Unit Readiness NCO, Unit Training Officer, Unit Training NCO, Mobilization Validation and Net-USR.
