COVID-19 INFORMATION

IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING COVID-19 AND PEC COURSES

Personnel attending National Guard Professional Education Center (PEC) courses are required to be vaccinated for COVID. Personnel pending a COVID vaccine exemption will not travel to training attendance until their exemption is adjudicated. Fully vaccinated personnel who are symptomatic should not be permitted to travel for training. Symptomatic students will be tested and may be returned to home station.

All students must complete the PEC COVID-19 Screening Risk Questionnaire on the last day prior to travel and turn it in during day 1 prescreening (see below for the questionnaire). Battalion representatives will not prescreen at check-in, rather, conduct prescreening prior to students entering the classroom. Students will provide vaccination evidence (vaccination card/MEDPROS) to the instructor in the form of a vaccination card or screenshot. Instructors will annotate confirmation of vaccination and collect the questionnaires, which are destroyed upon graduation. Note: Minus showing vaccination evidence, students pre-screen daily prior to entering the classroom.

Exceptions to Policy (ETP) to fly commercially is rescinded. Links to the Commander’s guidance and PEC General Information are provided below. Training centers will communicate course specific guidance to students 30 days prior to class start.

PEC Training Management Branch continues to communicate updates and changes to these policies and requirements to the State QSMs and HRDs. PEC Training Management Branch updates ATRRS to reflect such changes. Some PEC courses utilize Alternate Method of Instruction (AMI). AMI courses are temporarily converted to virtual and are annotated in ATRRS with the "X" class type.
